Falcon Arrow is a Minneapolis art rock two-piece, with looping bass riffs and drums. Combining DIY/Garage punk rock with the techniques of early minimalist compositions, the music defies genres. The band’s live performances are intense, raw energy amidst the backdrop of a multi-screen video installation. The EP is a limited and individually numbered edition of only 50. The CD is totally sold out, only the digital version remains!!!
"Falcon Arrow's EP is a record of urgency, contrasting a calm, tight groove meshing with loose feel, and a pair of players who construct a sound more full and mature than many larger bands. Though it's just an EP, and was limited to a run of just 50 copies, this is definitely a record worth searching for."-The Silent Ballet
The EP opens with Stage Sounds, an intro track composed of audio samples used during live performances. Next is Frog Lock, a whirlwind three part song with heavy riffs and intricate drums. Petit Bit is a pure epic instrumental journey composed of catchy riffs with serene calm before repetitive crashes. Salvavidas begins with militaristic simplicity before morphing into world ending attacks. The EP ends with Septaplex, a song that encompasses all the elements of terrain previously covered with a unique frankness of memorable melody.
